2 Killed in Yorba Linda Plane Crash on Canyon Drive near Anaheim

Yorba Linda, California (February 3, 2019) – Two people were killed and two others hospitalized after a plane crash Sunday afternoon in Yorba Linda near Anaheim, according to a local news source.
The deadly crash occurred a while before 2:00 p.m. Sunday, in the 19000 block of Canyon Drive.
As per the report, the twin-engine Cessna 414A crashed shortly after taking off from the Fullerton Municipal Airport for unknown reasons.
Authorities confirmed that two people died as a result of the crash while two others were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries of unknown degree. The victims’ names were not immediately known.
Officials also said that the crash ignited a fire in one home.
Debris, including a propeller, was scattered in the street and people’s yards following the crash.
An investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is underway.
