San Jose, CA: 2-Car Accident on Highway 85 and Blossom Hill Road
1 Hospitalized after San Jose Rollover Crash on Highway 85 and Blossom Hill Road
San Jose, California (February 3, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon in the area of San Jose, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 4:35 p.m. Sunday, on southbound 80 Freeway, just south of Blossom Hill Road.
As per the report, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. The two cars overturned down an embankment following the collision.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of chest pain as a result of the collision. The victim was transported Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose for treatment.
The patient’s name and current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
