Man Killed in Highway 101 Bicycle Accident in Corte Madera
Corte Madera, California (January 20, 2019) – A bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night in Corte Madera, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident was reported at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, January 19 on Highway 101.
As per the report, a man was riding his bicycle on Highway 101 when he was hit by a vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released pending identification and notification of his relatives.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and complied with investigators.
Authorities closed lanes between Madera Boulevard and Paradise Drive until around 10:00 p.m.
