77-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Watsonville Truck Crash on Main Street
Watsonville, California (January 3, 2019) – A 77-year-old woman was hospitalized Wednesday morning following a traffic accident in Watsonville, according to authorities.
The crash happened at around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 2 on Main Street.
Authorities said the woman was driving an SUV on Main Street when she lost control of her car and slammed into a commercial truck.
The woman was taken to a trauma center with major injuries.
Main Street was closed for during the investigation. According to the report, authorities reopened Main Street at South Green Valley Road and the Main Street exit from Highway 1 after completing the investigation.
