1 Sustains Major Injuries in La Mesa Motorcycle Collision on Highway 125 near Highway 94

La Mesa, California (June 24, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured in a Wednesday afternoon La Mesa motorcycle collision that occurred on Highway 125, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash transpired at about 5:42 p.m. in the northbound lanes near Highway 94.
The report said a black motorcycle that was allegedly driving recklessly hit a red Chevrolet Camaro. Two other vehicles may have also been involved in the collision.
The motorcycle was blocking the roadway after the crash.
The rider was also lying in the slow lane and appeared to have difficulty breathing.
An off-duty San Miguel fire employee was at the scene and was offering help.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to provide medical aid to the seriously injured rider and take them to the hospital.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
