Ventura, California (June 20, 2021) – One person was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after a rollover collision that took place Sunday morning in Ventura, the California Highway Patrol reported.

CHP said two vehicles collided at around 8:14 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 near Victoria Avenue.

A Nissan Armada and a Toyota FT-MV were involved in the crash. The Armada overturned onto its roof after the impact, blocking the No. 2 lane.

The driver of the Armada was hospitalized at Ventura County Medical Center with serious injuries, as per the report.

No other details were given about the crash.

CHP is investigating the cause of the wreck.
