La Jolla, California (June 14, 2021) – A mother and her two children were struck and injured by a vehicle Sunday morning at an intersection in La Jolla, according to authorities.

The accident happened at around 10:20 a.m. Sunday, June 13, at the intersection of La Jolla Shores Drive and Vallecitos Court.

Authorities said the family was crossing the street when, for an unknown reason, a white Rolls-Royce SUV hit them.

The children were transported to Rady Children’s Hospital with minor injuries. Their mother also had minor injuries, but it was not immediately known if she was hospitalized.
