Modesto, CA: 1 Hospitalized after 2 Vehicles Crash at Beckwith and Hammett Roads

Modesto, California (June 14, 2021) – A traffic collision involving a silver Lexus and a blue Ford at an intersection in Modesto Saturday morning seriously injured one person.

The major injury crash took place in the area of Beckwith Road and Hammett Road at approximately 8:25 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how the collision occurred at the intersection near the Salida area.

Due to the impact, both cars acquired major front-end damage, and two people were pinned in each vehicle.

Major Injury Modesto Car Crash

The two unidentified victims were extricated from the wreckage by medical personnel and the firefighters who arrived at the scene shortly after the crash.

One of the victims was taken to the Doctors Medical Center for treatment of major injuries sustained in the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
