51-Year-Old Shannon Eldridge among 4 Injured in Tuolumne County Collision on La Grange Road near Paseo Seven Legends
Tuolumne County, California (June 8, 2021) –Shannon Leann Eldridge, 51, of Auberry, was among four people who were injured in a Saturday afternoon head-on crash in Tuolumne County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury collision, involving two vehicles, occurred at around 4:27 p.m. Saturday, June 5, on La Grange Road, just north of Paseo Seven Legends.
According to the CHP, a 2008 Toyota Camry, driven by Ricky Andrew Haines, 48, of Oakdale, was heading northbound on La Grange Road when, for unknown reasons, the Toyota crossed over the double-yellow lines into the southbound lane, where it collided head-on with an oncoming 2017 Ford F350, driven by Eldrige.

Eldridge and her two elderly passengers sustained minor injuries in the accident. Eldrige was treated at the crash site while the two passengers were transported to Adventist Health Sonora.
Haines was airlifted to Doctors Medical Center with major injuries.
All parties involved in the crash were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, authorities said. Intoxication was not believed to have played a role in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
