Corona Man Killed in La Mesa Motorcycle Accident on Fletcher Parkway at Dallas Street
La Mesa, California (June 4, 2021) – A Corona motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night in a collision with a vehicle at an intersection in La Mesa, according to a press release by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The deadly accident occurred at around 8:18 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, on Fletcher Parkway at Dallas Street.
As per the release, a 30-year-old Corona man was riding his motorcycle northbound on Fletcher Parkway when he collided with a Toyota SUV that was turning right onto Fletcher Parkway.
The rider was thrown off the bike upon the impact.
1 Killed in La Mesa Motorcycle Accident
The motorcyclist was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries despite life-saving measures performed by the doctors. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of relatives.
The SUV’s driver, an 18-year-old woman, was not injured and is not suspected of being impaired.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
