Vacaville, CA: 1 Hospitalized after I-505 Collision near Vaca Valley Pkwy On-Ramp
1 Injured in Vacaville Car Crash on Interstate 505 near Vaca Valley Pkwy On-Ramp
Vacaville, California (May 31, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that took place Monday afternoon in Vacaville, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported at around 2:39 p.m. on southbound Interstate 505, just south of Vaca Valley Pkwy on-ramp.
A blue pickup truck collided with a Range Rover and went through a fence. The pickup truck was allegedly driving recklessly prior to the crash.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to find one person who was complaining of pain. The patient was taken to Northbay VacaValley Hospital for treatment.
About 30 feet of chain-link fence was damaged in the collision.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
