Male Pedestrian Killed in Banning Crash on West Ramsey Street near Eighth Street

Banning, California (May 29, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday morning hit-and-run accident that killed a male pedestrian in Banning.
The deadly accident occurred at about 2:00 a.m., on May 26, in the 1200 block of West Ramsey Street, near Eighth Street, just north of Interstate 10.
According to the police, the man was hit by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
First responders arrived at the scene and found the male victim lying near the curb in eastbound lanes.
Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police.
