1 Seriously Injured in Tracy Crash at Ahern Road and South Bird Road

Tracy, California (May 29, 2021) – One person was seriously injured Friday evening in a traffic crash at an intersection in Tracy, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The major injury collision was reported at around 7:50 p.m. Friday, May 28, at the intersection of Ahern Road and South Bird Road, near the area of Lyoth.
Two vehicles collided for an undetermined reason at the Tracy intersection, as per the CHP report.
One person sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately disclosed.
The intersection of Ahern and Bird roads was blocked while the investigation took place.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
