Man Hospitalized after Elk Grove Crash on Highway 99 and Laguna Boulevard
Elk Grove, California (May 20, 2021) – A man was hospitalized Wednesday morning following a traffic accident in Elk Grove, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The two-car wreck, which was reported just after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, happened on Highway 99 at Laguna Boulevard.
As per the CHP report, a dark-colored Dodge Durango collided with a black 2019 Dodge Charger on the Laguna Boulevard on-ramp to northbound Highway 99.
The male driver of the Dodge Charger complained of pain after the crash. He was taken by a family member to the Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center with minor injuries.
The northbound Highway 99 at Laguna Boulevard on-ramp was shut down following the crash.
No further details about the accident were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
