Selma, California (May 18, 2021) – At least one person sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident that happened Monday night in Selma.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at about 11:54 p.m. on southbound Highway 99 at 2nd Street on-ramp.

A black GMC Yukon and at least one other vehicle were involved in the collision.

Selma police and firefighters responded to the scene.

At least one person suffered major injuries in the collision. The victim was hospitalized in an unknown condition.

The report said the motorcycle, a big rig and a Nissan Altima were towed away from the collision scene.

The on-ramp was closed for an unknown duration following the accident.

Officers are investigating the wreck.
