Tulare County, California (May 18, 2021) – A pedestrian was severely injured after being struck by a car Monday night at an intersection in Orosi, a census-designated place in Tulare County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident happened at around 8:42 p.m. at Road 125 and Avenue 416.
The pedestrian was hit by the vehicle for unknown reasons. It was not clear if the victim was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident.
Skylife responded to the scene to airlift the severely injured pedestrian to the hospital.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
