Man Killed in Victorville Crash on Bear Valley Road and Industrial Boulevard
Victorville, California (May 8, 2021) – A man was killed in a traffic collision that occurred early Friday morning in Victorville, according to the Victorville Sheriff’s Station.
The incident was reported at around 5:40 a.m. May 7, in the area of Bear Valley Road and Industrial Boulevard.
According to deputies, a 65-year-old man was trying to make a turn east onto Bear Valley Road from Industrial Boulevard when his vehicle was struck on its driver’s side by a vehicle heading west on Bear Valley Road.
Man Killed in Victorville 2-Vehicle Crash
Firefighters responded to the incident and performed CPR on the 65-year-old driver. The man was then transported to Desert Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The identity of the deceased driver was not immediately released.
There was no update on the condition of the second motorist.
The crash caused a closure of Bear Valley Road for several hours as authorities examined the scene.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
