Orcutt, California (May 7, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of an alleged Orcutt hit-and-run collision that left one person hurt Tuesday evening, on May 4.

The pedestrian accident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Pinal Avenue between Dyer Street and Gray Street. 

An individual was reportedly struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene after the crash.

The unidentified pedestrian was transported to the Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The CHP is still gathering more evidence to locate the hit-and-run suspect.
