2 Injured in Car Accident on 6th Street near G Street in Eureka
Eureka, California (April 24, 2021) – Two people were injured in a collision involving a bicycle in Eureka on Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened at about 1:10 p.m. on 6th Street near G Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles collided on the roadway for unknown reasons. The impact of the crash sent one of the vehicles off the roadway where it struck a bicyclist who was resting near the intersection.
An occupant of one of the vehicles and the bicyclist were injured in the crash and were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
