Marysville, CA: Major Injury Traffic Collision on Highway 70
1 Seriously Injured in Marysville Crash on Highway 70 near Silva Avenue

Marysville, California (April 24, 2021) – One person sustained serious injuries following a traffic accident that happened Friday evening in Marysville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury collision was reported at around 6:48 p.m. Friday, April 23, on Highway 70, just north of Silva Avenue.
The CHP said a white Ford pickup collided with a dark gray Dodge Ram in the northbound lane of Highway 70.
According to the CHP, one patient was taken to Adventist Health and Rideout with major injuries, including a broken arm and lacerations to the arm.
The name of the victim and thier current condition were not disclosed.
The road was blocked for nearly one hour due to the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
