1 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 101 near San Anselmo Road in Atascadero
Atascadero, California (April 24, 2021) – A driver was injured in a car accident that happened on Friday afternoon in Atascadero, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on Highway 101 near San Anselmo Road at about 1:40 p.m.
A 73-year-old man was driving a Nissan Titan when he suffered a medical episode and started braking.
The man’s wife who was in the front passenger seat steered the vehicle to the shoulder of the road.
The police said a passing semi-truck clipped the Nissan that was coming to a stop.
The man was transported to Twin Cities Hospital in unknown condition.
