Placerville, California (April 24, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a Saturday afternoon multi-car collision that occurred in Placerville, leaving at least one person with major injuries.
CHP said the accident happened at around noon on eastbound Highway 50 at Sierra Blanca Drive.
At the time of the report, it was not clear how three vehicles collided at the intersection.
A female party who was involved in the wreck was seen crying.
CHP officers and emergency crews responded to the scene to find at least one person with major injuries. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to offer medical aid to the victim.
The report said vehicle parts were in traffic lanes.
