Long Beach, California (April 21, 2021) – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who died Saturday morning following a traffic accident at a Long Beach intersection as Leandre Robertson, 22, of Long Beach.
The deadly motorcycle accident occurred at about 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and 59th Street.
According to the authorities, Robertson was riding a 2009 Yamaha RZF-R6 motorcycle northbound on Atlantic Avenue from South Street when he lost control and slammed into a building.
Long Beach Man Dies After Motorcycle Crash
Robertson was taken to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Speed was considered a factor in the crash. It was not immediately clear if intoxication played a role in the accident.
