San Andreas, California (April 21, 2021) – Two people were seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a three-vehicle collision in the San Andreas area of Calaveras County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The major injury crash was reported at around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, on Highway 49, just north of Highway 12 intersection, and involved three vehicles.

Details on what led up to the collision at this time are unknown, but the CHP said one person was thrown from one of the vehicles as a result of the crash.
