1 Suffers Major Injuries in Live Oak Crash on Archer Avenue near Sheldon Avenue
Live Oak, California (April 15, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with major injuries after being involved in a solo-car accident Thursday afternoon in Live Oak, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident happened at about 2:20 p.m. in the 1787 block of Archer Avenue near Sheldon Avenue.
As per the report, for unknown reasons, a vehicle struck a tree and caught fire.
A party reporting the accident said the car’s doors could not open, and the driver was trapped inside. The reporting party was attempting to put the fire out using a hose.
Firefighters responded to the scene after receiving reports of the accident. The firefighters extricated the party and requested an air ambulance to airlift the victim to the hospital.

The roadway was closed for an unknown duration to allow an investigation.
