Riverside Man Dies in Riverside Accident on Victoria Avenue near Grace Street
Riverside, California (April 11, 2021) – The Riverside man who died in a single-car crash Sunday afternoon in Riverside has been identified.
32-year-old Roberto Moreno was involved in the crash at around 4:15 p.m. on eastbound Victoria Avenue near Grace Street.
Authorities said for unknown reasons, Moreno’s car hit a tree head-on.
First responders attempted to resuscitate the driver but were unsuccessful. Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene about 25 minutes after the accident.
The driver was the only occupant of the car.
The crash left Victoria Avenue closed for several hours as an on-scene investigation was conducted.
