At Least 1 Seriously in Bakersfield Crash on State Route 178 at Mount Vernon Avenue Off-Ramp

Bakersfield, California (April 3, 2021) – At least one person was seriously injured Friday night in a two-vehicle collision in Bakersfield, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The major injury crash happened at about 8:35 p.m. Friday, April 2, on State Route 178 at the Mount Vernon Avenue exit, the CHP report states.
According to the CHP report, a white van collided with a blue Nissan on State Route 178. Details on what led up to the accident were not immediately available.
