Deputy, Civilian Injured in Los Angeles Crash at The Old Road and Highway 126

Los Angeles, California (April 3, 2021) – A two-car accident has left two people injured, including a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy, in Los Angeles Friday afternoon, authorities said.
The crash, which was reported at around 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 2, happened in the area of The Old Road and Highway 126.
According to the authorities, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons near the intersection of The Old Road and Highway 126.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and determined that an officer was involved in the collision. It was not immediately known if the deputy was driving a marked patrol car or a private vehicle.
The officer and the civilian driver of the second vehicle were both treated at the scene by responding paramedics. The names of the victims and the extent of their injuries were not immediately disclosed.
The accident remains under investigation.
