Los Angeles, California (March 25, 2021) – John Donald Draper, 74, has been identified as the pedestrian who was hit and killed by a hit and run driver on Friday night in Los Angeles, authorities said.

The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at about 9:39 p.m., on March 19, on Crenshaw Boulevard at Hyde Park Boulevard.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Draper was crossing Crenshaw Boulevard at Hyde Park Boulevard when a gray Ford F-150 pickup truck traveling at a high rate of speed struck him.

Sadly, Draper was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver continued northbound on Crenshaw Boulevard.
