Redding Accident near Airport Road and Prairie Lane Injures 3 Victims
Redding, California (March 24, 2021) – Three people were hurt following a traffic collision that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Redding, a local news source reported.
The minor injury crash took place shortly after 1 p.m., March 23, at a Panda Express near Airport Road and Prairie Lane.
As per the authorities’ report, a vehicle driven by an elderly woman crashed into the exterior of the building after she hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes.
The restaurant’s outdoor patio trellis acquired major damage upon the impact.
Minor Injury Redding Accident
The motorist sustained minor injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for medication.
Two customers, who were sitting at a table, survived with minor injuries, but they were not hospitalized.
Meanwhile, the restaurant remained open as emergency crews cleared the scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
