Los Angeles, California (February 27, 2021) – At least two people were injured in a hit-and-run accident on Saturday morning in West Los Angeles, authorities said.

The accident occurred at about 8:50 a.m. on San Diego (405) Freeway at Pico Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a blue or green Toyota Prius struck at least two people on the freeway for undetermined reasons.

The two parties were injured in the accident and were hospitalized in unknown conditions.

The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police.

The crash remains under investigation.
