Fatal Injuries Reported in Alameda County Crash on Calaveras Road near Welch Creek Road
Alameda County, California (February 27, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday morning traffic accident that resulted in fatal injuries in an unincorporated area of Alameda County near the Sunol Regional Wilderness Preserve.
The deadly accident happened at about 10:30 a.m. on Calaveras Road near Welch Creek Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle went down a steep ravine for undetermined reasons.
Sadly, the accident resulted in fatal injuries.
More details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
