Dinuba, California (February 10, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by two vehicles Tuesday night at an intersection in Dinuba, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident occurred a little after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 9 at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and El Monte Way.

Authorities said a man was hit by a gray Ford F-150 truck while crossing El Monte Way.

According to the authorities, the driver exited the vehicle and may have picked up a broken truck part. The driver then fled the scene without helping the injured man.

Bystanders tried to help the victim, but another vehicle struck him, authorities said.

Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

As per the report, the second driver also fled the scene, but later returned to the crash site to cooperate with the police.

Authorities are still searching for the first driver who fled the scene.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to the authorities.
