Minor Injuries Sustained in Pleasanton Big Rig Crash on 580 Freeway near San Ramon Road Off-Ramp
Pleasanton, California (February 1, 2021) – Authorities said minor injuries were sustained when a sedan collided with a big rig early Monday morning in Pleasanton.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a party called authorities at about 1:37 a.m. reporting the accident that had happened on eastbound 580 Freeway, just west of San Ramon Road off-ramp.
Reportedly, the sedan rear-ended the big rig for unknown reasons.
The sedan ended up about 50 feet down an embankment and adjacent to Church of Christ.
At least one occupant in that car sustained minor injuries. An ambulance was requested to offer medical aid to the victim.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
