James Carter Killed in Car Accident on 580 Freeway near Isabel Avenue in Livermore
Livermore, California (February 1, 2021) – The Alameda County County Sheriff’s Office Coroner Bureau has disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a car crash in Livermore on Thursday afternoon, January 28.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 580 Freeway near the Isabel Avenue offramp.
54-year-old James Carter was driving a car on the roadway when he lost control while making a turn on the offramp.
The vehicle veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree, ejecting the motorist.
Carter, a resident of Brighton, Colorado, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
