Raymond Chavez ID’d as Male Pedestrian Killed in Adelanto Crash on Air Expressway near Pearmain Street
Adelanto, California (February 1, 2021) – Raymond Chavez, 55, of Hesperia, has been identified as the man who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday morning in Adelanto, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at about 2:27 a.m., on January 27, Air Expressway east of Pearmain Street.
According to the police, Chavez was walking in a northerly direction crossing Air Expressway when an identified vehicle struck him.

Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
