San Diego, CA: Multi-Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway
1 Injured in San Diego Crash on 15 Freeway near University Avenue
San Diego, California (January 28, 2021) – One person was injured Thursday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in San Diego, according to a local news source.
The accident, which involved four vehicles, took place on the northbound side of 15 Freeway near University Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the CHP, the crash involved a white Toyota RAV4, a white Mitsubishi Lancer and a white utility truck.
After the crash, the sedan ended up against the center median while the SUV was facing the wrong direction in the No. 1 lane.
Authorities said one person sustained a knee injury as a result of the crash. The victim declined transportation to the hospital.
Tow trucks were dispatched to the scene to remove at least two wrecked vehicles.
The crash remains under investigation.
