Kerman, CA: CHP Investigating Major Traffic Crash on South Madera Avenue
At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Kerman Single-Car Crash on 7700 South Madera Avenue
Kerman, California (January 28, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a single-car crash that happened Thursday afternoon in Kerman, leaving at least one person with severe injuries.
CHP said the incident transpired at about 2:48 p.m. in the 7700 block of South Madera Avenue, also known as Highway 145.
A party reporting the accident said they heard the traffic collision and then saw a vehicle that had run through their fence.
Authorities, including Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies, responded to the scene to find a Ford Expedition involved in the crash. The deputies blocked the northbound traffic.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash, as per authorities. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to offer medical aid.
The cause of the crash remained unknown at the time of the report.
Debris from the collision was scattered in the roadway.
