2 Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash at Calle Real and N. La Patera Lane in Goleta
2 Injured, 1 Hospitalized after Goleta DUI Crash at Calle Real and N. La Patera Lane; Oxnard Man Arrested

Goleta, California (January 28, 2021) – Two people were injured Thursday afternoon in an alleged DUI crash in Goleta, according to a local news source.
At about noon, emergency personnel responded to the area of Calle Real and N. La Patera Lane for a report of a traffic accident.
Upon arrival, they determined that three vehicles collided at the intersection. One of the vehicles rolled over and landed on its roof as a result of the collision.
The driver of the overturned vehicle had to be rescued by firefighters.
A total of two people sustained minor injuries in the accident. One of the patients was transported to a hospital for treatment.
A 31-year-old Oxnard man, who was one of the involved drivers, was found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident. He was eventually arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Police shut down the intersection while the investigation and cleanup took place.
The crash remains under investigation.
