Santa Clara Accident at El Camino Real and Halford Avenue Results in Major Injuries

Santa Clara, California (January 15, 2021) – A male party was hit and seriously injured by a dark-colored BMW 5 Series Tuesday night in Santa Clara, the Santa Clara Police Department reported.
The hit-and-run collision happened at about 10:20 p.m. at the intersection of El Camino Real and Halford Avenue.
The BMW, heading northbound on Halford, reportedly struck the man while walking eastbound in a crosswalk.
Meanwhile, the involved BMW motorist did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. Officials said the BMW acquired major damage to the front driver-side door.
Major Injury Santa Clara Hit-And-Run Pedestrian Accident
The pedestrian, a 44-year-old man, was hospitalized at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center with major injuries. He was listed in critical condition.
