1 Injured in Oakland Car Crash on 880 Freeway near 98th Avenue
Oakland, California (January 15, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle collision that happened in Oakland on Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened at about 2:21 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 880 Freeway near 98th Avenue.
A blue Chevrolet Trailblazer, a red Honda CRV and possibly a third vehicle were involved in the accident. The circumstances surrounding the accident were not immediately established.
The authorities said parties in two vehicles were injured in the accident. The extent of the injuries sustained by the victim was not immediately established.
