1 Person Seriously Injured in Fresno Crash on Highway 168 near Shaw Avenue
Fresno, California (January 1, 2021) – One person was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident on Friday morning in Fresno, authorities said.
The major injury accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. on Highway 168, west of Shaw Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda, driven by a woman, was traveling the wrong way on the highway when it lost control and struck a dirt center median.
As a result of the collision, the vehicle reportedly became airborne and rolled over.

An adult male passenger sustained major injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The female driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
