Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Lankershim Boulevard near Moorpark Street in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (December 29, 2020) – An 85-year-old woman died after being struck by a car near Toluca Lake in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Lankershim Boulevard near Moorpark Street at about 5:40 p.m. December 27.
The Los Angeles Police Department said a sedan was making a left turn onto Lankershim from Moorpark Street when it struck the woman.
The woman was rushed to an area hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.
The motorist fled the scene after the accident and was yet to be located.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
