Man Hit, Seriously Injured by Vehicle on Interstate 5 in Willows
67-Year-Old Man Injured in Willows Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 5 near County Road 48
Willows, California (December 29, 2020) – A 67-year-old man was hit and seriously injured by a vehicle on Friday evening in Willows, authorities said.
The major injury pedestrian accident transpired at about 7:45 p.m., on December 25, on Interstate 5, just north of County Road 48.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was walking in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 when a teal-colored 1997 Ford Expedition struck him.

The male pedestrian sustained major injuries in the accident.
The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police. The passenger-side rearview mirror was damaged in the collision.
