Marcos Gutierrez among 2 Killed in Bakersfield Truck Accident on Highway 43 at Garces Highway
Bakersfield, California (December 8, 2020) – Marcos Vargas Gutierrez, 37, of Wasco, was among two men who were killed in a two-vehicle crash in 2018 in Bakersfield.
The deadly accident occurred a little after 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, on Highway 43 at Garces Highway.
As per the report, a car collided with a semi-truck on the roadway for unknown reasons.

Gutierrez, who was a passenger in the car, was transported to Kern Medical, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
The driver of the car was also taken to Delano Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
No further details about the crash were available.
The accident remains under investigation.
