Krystal Mobley Killed, Huda Gubary Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision at McHenry Avenue and Claribel Road in Modesto

Modesto, California (November 18, 2020) – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle collision that happened on Tuesday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal car crash happened at about 7 p.m. at McHenry Avenue and Claribel Road.
A 27-year-old man was driving a Nissan Altima northbound on McHenry when the vehicle was broadsided by a westbound Lexus SUV driven by 46-year-old Huda Gubary of Salida. The authorities believe one of the cars ran a red light at the intersection.
The impact pushed the Nissan and the Lexus into three vehicles that were waiting at a red light.
The driver of the Altima suffered major injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. His name was not immediately disclosed.
A passenger in the Altima, 34-year-old Krystal Mobley, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gubary was hospitalized with major injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
