Woman Killed in Car Accident on 680 Freeway near Highway 4 in Pacheco, Contra Costa
Pacheco, California (November 18, 2020) – A woman was killed in a rollover car cash in Pacheco on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 10:25 a.m. on Interstate 680 Freeway near Highway 4.
A 2003 Nissan 350z was traveling on the freeway when the driver lost control and crashed into the center divider.
A 20-year-old Milpitas woman who was a passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 22-year-old Milpitas man sustained major injuries in the accident and was transported to John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek.
The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
