Daniel Lopez ID’d as Man Killed in Richmond Crash on Richmond Parkway near Hilltop Drive
Richmond, California (October 16, 2020) – The man who died in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Richmond has been identified as Daniel Lopez, 23, of San Pablo, according to authorities.
The deadly car accident occurred at around 1:10 a.m. on Richmond Parkway near Hilltop Drive.
Authorities said Lopez was driving on Richmond Parkway at a high rate of speed when his vehicle went out of control and crashed. The car then rolled over and came to rest on its roof.
During the rollover, Lopez was ejected from the vehicle and landed onto the roadway.

Lopez died at the scene.
Authorities believe speed was a factor in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
