Jordan Del Carmen ID’d as Man Killed in Hollywood Car Accident on Highway 101 near Hollywood Boulevard
Hollywood, California (October 9, 2020) – Jordan Del Carmen, 24, of Paramount, has been identified as the man who was killed in a Thursday morning wrong-way traffic accident that left one other injured in Hollywood, according to the coroner’s office.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident transpired at around 1:00 a.m., on October 8, on Highway 101, just north of the Hollywood Boulevard off-ramp.
The CHP said a black 2008 BMW, driven by Del Carmen, was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of Highway 101 when it collided head-on with a 2014 Subaru operated by Clayton Chiapuzio, 33, of Newbury Park in Ventura County.
That impact reportedly caused a chain-reaction crash, which involved two other vehicles.

Del Carmen was declared dead at the scene.
Chiapuzio sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital.
The other two drivers were not injured.
The collision resulted in a temporary closure of the highway’s northbound lanes as crews worked to remove the vehicles.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
