Ryan Bannon ID’d as Man Killed in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on Hillery Drive near Westview Parkway

San Diego, California (September 11, 2020) – The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist who died in a traffic accident last week Wednesday in San Diego as Ryan Bannon, 26, of San Diego.
The deadly motorcycle accident occurred at around 1:57 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, on Hillery Drive, just west of Westview Parkway.
Authorities said a 2000 Honda Accord, driven by a 63-year-old woman, was traveling eastbound on Hillery Drive when it turned left into the driveway of a Home Depot across the pathway of a westbound 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Bannon.
Bannon ultimately crashed into the passenger side of the Honda, the officials said.
Bannon was ejected from his bike upon the impact.
Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Hillery Drive in San Diego
Bannon was transported to the Scripps Memorial Hospital- La Jolla, where he was pronounced dead at about 2:45 p.m.
The Honda’s driver complained of anxiety and pain to her knuckle. She was also taken to a hospital for evaluation.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the mishap.
The San Diego Police is investigating the crash.
